PaddyPost allows you to schedule and publish content directly to your Instagram Business or Creator accounts.
PaddyPost supports Instagram Business and Creator accounts. Personal Instagram profiles cannot be connected due to Instagram’s API limitations.

Troubleshooting

This is the most common issue and usually happens for one of two reasons:
  1. It’s not a Business Account: Open Instagram on your phone, go to Settings > Account > Switch to Professional Account.
  2. It’s not linked to a Facebook Page: Go to your Facebook Page Settings > Linked Accounts > Instagram and ensure the connection is established.
  3. Permissions were missed: Remove the PaddyPost integration from your Facebook Business Integrations settings and try connecting again, making sure to “Select All” accounts when prompted.
While PaddyPost supports these formats, Instagram has strict requirements for auto-publishing.
  • Stories: Ensure you aren’t using interactive stickers (like Polls or Music) that aren’t supported via API.
  • Reels: Must be under 15 minutes and meet specific aspect ratio requirements.
If a post fails, try publishing it as a standard feed post to verify the connection is working.
