# Setting up a Posting Schedule

> Configure default posting times to automate your content queue.

The Posting Schedule allows you to define specific times for your content to be published automatically when you use the **Add to Queue** option. This ensures consistent activity without manually selecting a time for every post.

## Configuring Your Schedule

1. Navigate to **Posting Schedule** in the sidebar.
2. Select the **Timezone** you want your schedule to adhere to.

### Adding Times

You can define different schedules for each day of the week.

1. Click **Add Posting Time** (or the **+** icon) next to a specific day.
2. Select the time you want a post to go out.
3. Repeat this for all the slots you want available.

<Tip>
  Example: If you add slots at 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Mondays, the first post you "Add to Queue" will take the 9:00 AM slot, and the second will take the 5:00 PM slot.
</Tip>

### Clearing Times

To remove a slot, simply click the **Trash** icon next to the time. You can also **Clear All** to start fresh.

## How the Queue Works

When you create a post and select **Add to Queue**:

1. PaddyPost looks for the *next available* empty slot in your Posting Schedule.
2. The post is automatically scheduled for that time.
3. If all slots for the current week are full, it will roll over to the next week.
