# Connect TikTok Account

> Connect your TikTok account to PaddyPost to schedule and publish videos.

PaddyPost allows you to schedule and auto-publish videos to your TikTok profile.

## Prerequisites

* You must have a **TikTok account**.
* **TikTok for Business** accounts are recommended for better analytics, but personal accounts are also supported.

## Connecting Your Account

    In the PaddyPost sidebar, click on **Accounts**.

  <Step title="Add Account">
    Click the **Add Account** button in the top right corner.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select TikTok">
    Choose **TikTok** from the list of social networks.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Authorize PaddyPost">
    You will be redirected to TikTok.

    1. Log in to your TikTok account (via QR code, email, or phone).
    2. Review the access permissions.
    3. Click **Authorize**.

  <Step title="Confirm Connection">
    You will be redirected back to PaddyPost. Your TikTok account is now connected.

## Troubleshooting

  PaddyPost supports direct publishing for TikTok. However, if your video contains copyrighted music or certain features not supported by the API, it may need to be finished in the TikTok app.

  TikTok has strict video requirements. Ensure your video is:

  * MP4 or MOV format.
  * Less than 60 seconds (recommended for auto-publish reliability, though longer is often supported).
  * Vertical aspect ratio (9:16).
