# Connect Threads Account

> Connect your Threads profile to PaddyPost to schedule posts and carousels.

PaddyPost enables you to schedule and publish content directly to your Threads profile.

## Prerequisites

* You must have a **Threads profile**.
* Your Threads profile must be linked to an **Instagram account**.
* You must be logged into the associated Instagram/Threads account.

## Connecting Your Account

<Steps>
  <Step title="Navigate to Accounts">
    In the PaddyPost sidebar, click on **Accounts**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add Account">
    Click the **Add Account** button in the top right corner.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Threads">
    Choose **Threads** from the list of social networks.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Authorize via Instagram">
    Since Threads is part of the Instagram ecosystem, you will be redirected to an Instagram/Meta authorization page.

    1. Log in with your Instagram credentials if prompted.
    2. Review the permissions requested by PaddyPost.
    3. Click **Allow**.

  <Step title="Confirm Connection">
    You will be redirected back to PaddyPost. Your Threads account is now connected and ready for scheduling.

## Troubleshooting

<Accordion title="Account not appearing">
  Ensure you are logged into the correct Instagram account that corresponds to the Threads profile you wish to connect.

<Accordion title="API Limitations">
  Threads API currently allows scheduling text, images, and video. Some interactive features available in the mobile app (like polls) may not be supported via the API yet.
